Today I should have done a pace run, but my chest felt heavy. It's funny how some days a runner (and please, real runners, do not take offense at my considering myself a runner) can feel like flying through the miles and other days the lungs or legs, or, most commonly, the mind doesn't want to do it.
Mental battles are so fun.
I was shopping on Etsy a while ago and found the perfect inspiration to wear while I run.

I was not surprised when I emailed Emily at Chapelhil and she said she was a runner, too! I wore my bracelet while I ran today, and it was a beautiful reminder of more than just finishing what I had started, it reminded me of the person I want to be. I don't give up, and I face things head on even when it's scarey.
I was very grateful that she said she'd be willing to give away a bracelet to one of my followers. Other than following my blog, I'm going to ask that you go to her Etsy store and in the search box type "running" she has many motivational bracelets for runners.
It's a perfect addition. I wore it last night to dress up a sweater, and I was able to wear it while I ran- nice and light. Love it!
Friday January 27th at 8am I will have the drawing. Good luck!
